College and Career Advantage- April Update

This month, the graduates of College and Career Advantage’s inaugural adult Hotel & Hospitality class were greeted and praised by upwards of 50 members of the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach’s management team. Students spent eight weeks on an internship that covered everything from maintenance and housekeeping to catering and event planning. It is a win-win for CCA and its business partner. This experience exposed students to the world of hospitality services while providing the hotel with potential skilled job candidates.

College and Career Advantage’s adult programs prepare students to obtain entry-level positions directly after graduation. CCA’s adult courses are offered tuition-free and each graduate receives an industry-recognized certificate of completion and a unique internship experience.  If you or someone you know is interested in a career in medical assisting, dental assisting, surgical technology, pharmacy, EMS, hotel/hospitality careers, or cybersecurity; please contact College and Career Advantage at (949) 234- 5994  or visit www.ccadvantage.org to enroll today. CCA is hosting an Open House for all potential students on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

CCA’s Teacher of the Month for February is Sean Selff. Mr. Selff oversees the San Clemente High School Automotive Academy, a 3-year academy program focused on automotive technology as a career theme coordinated with academic classes. Sean is a well-respected and involved member of CCA, SCHS, and the community. Students interested in the auto academy can apply through the San Clemente High School Website.
