          Union High counselor Shannon Halbert wasn't sure w Union High counselor Shannon Halbert wasn't sure what the start of the 2022-23 school year would bring, so soon after an unfathomable personal tragedy. The Union community provided their counselor the same unwavering support she provided so many students over the years. Senior Adam Krueger put it simply and truthfully- "Now it's our turn to take care of you."

However, we do ask for your patience and flexibility as conditions could change overnight should we lose power or experiencing flooding.

If anything changes, we will provide an update prior to 7:00 a.m.

Otherwise, school will be open. Please be safe on your commute and monitor your local conditions.
          The National Weather Service (NWS) is reporting th The National Weather Service (NWS) is reporting that Hurricane Hilary is currently a category 4 storm off Mexico’s pacific coast. As of today, the NWS expects Hilary to downgrade to a tropical storm as it moves up the coast, however, it is expected to bring heavy rain and wind to southern California this weekend and possibly into Monday.

We will be monitoring the weather conditions and impacts to our schools this weekend to ensure the safety of our students and employees when we return to school next week. Please know that we will communicate any changes to normal school operations prior to the start of school Monday morning.
