      A little rain didn’t dampen the spirits at Las P A little rain didn’t dampen the spirits at Las Palmas, where a years-end tradition continued Friday morning- The Graduation Walk. 

Students from the Las Palmas class of 2015 returned to campus today to walk their elementary school one more time- showered in cheers and music from current students. The graduates also served as inspiration for the Pipers, with many wearing sweatshirts of the colleges and universities they will attend in the fall.

      Del Obispo's growth in i-Ready math this year has Del Obispo's growth in i-Ready math this year has been astounding. The Dragons lead the District in students moving to Level 1 performance and moving up from intensive levels. District staff stopped by campus Tuesday to celebrate with teachers and student. Way to go Del Obispo!!
      Dr. John Cheng was a beloved member of the CUSD co Dr. John Cheng was a beloved member of the CUSD community, serving as the team doctor at Aliso Niguel, and a curriculum advisor and mentor for CCA.       Aliso Niguel senior Duncan Carvalho was driving so Aliso Niguel senior Duncan Carvalho was driving south on Alicia Parkway Monday evening, when he saw some smoke billowing up from the hillside behind the school. He safely pulled over, saw flames coming up from the brush, and promptly called 911. Authorities quickly arrived on the scene to contain the fire in under an hour, avoiding any potential damage to school property.
