Union High, Bridges High, and CLASS program celebrate the Class of 2024
A commencement ceremony was held on Thursday, May 30, for graduating students from Bridges High School, Capistrano Union High School, and the CLASS Program.
The commencement speaker was Aiden Murray, an 11th grade early graduate. Union High Principal Brittany Casey and Bridges/ CLASS program Principal Luci Coppola welcomed family and friends to the ceremony. The graduates walked in to “Pomp and Circumstance” by composer Edward Elgar. Daysy Vazquez, a Union High School ASB Student, led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Union High School Guidance Tech Felix Hernandez announced the scholarship awards. Members of the Capistrano Unified Board of Trustees presented the diplomas, followed by a presentation of the Class of 2024. Graduates Luca Ugay of Bridges and Jestin Logue, the Union High School Student of the Quarter, led the turning of the tassels.
Union High School Students of the Quarter for this school year were Erik Morales (first quarter), Fatima Lopez and Raymundo Peralta (second quarter), Aiden Murray (third quarter), and Jestin Logue (fourth quarter).
