San Juan Hills debuts new College and Career Center on campus

San Juan Hills High School unveiled its brand new College and Career Center on December 16, marking the fifth space on a CUSD high school campus. The center is part of the CUSD partnership with College and Career Advantage, and provides resources to Stallion students and families as they prepare for post-graduate pursuits.

Students can access the center, which is located in the library, before, during and after school to benefit from a variety of services, including:

  • Searching for careers, and learning about internships and employment opportunities.
  • Planning their schedules to support their outside interests.
  • Learning about CCA after bell course offerings and CTE pathways that are available at Tesoro.
  • Accessing Futureology counselors to assist in college applications.
  • Receiving support in applying for financial aid and scholarships.

A dedicated career guidance specialist and Futureology counselor will be on site at the center to assist students and families. The room has flexible seating to accommodate groups and meetings of all sizes, and a bank of computers.
