Elementary art on display at Norman P. Murray Center

The CUSD Visual and Performing Arts department is hosting an Elementary Art Exhibit at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center. The exhibit opened with a friends and family reception on October 3 and will remain in place through November 13. The exhibit is free to the public, and can be viewed during normal business hours of the center.

In its inaugural year, the Elementary Art Program provides 5-6 lessons annually for each PK-5 class in CUSD. The dedicated team of seven art teachers utilizes the state-approved curriculum, Art of Education, to bring art onto campus for enthusiastic, gifted students.
