Erin Dollar, the AVID coordinator at San Clemente High School, was selected as a featured speaker at the AVID 2024 Summer Institute in San Diego. She was invited to share her insights and expertise with thousands of educators.
Last year, San Clemente was honored as an AVID National Demonstration School, the first in Southern Orange County. Demonstration Schools undergo “a rigorous validation process and are required to be revalidated every few years to ensure high levels of implementation.” The San Clemente program has over 300 members and has been in effect for more than 20 years.
AVID provides more than 8,000 schools nationwide with professional development, research-based resources and ongoing support to ensure a lasting impact.
