CUSD homeless site liaisons attend state conference

A group of 14 CUSD homeless site liaisons attended the 2023 California Statewide Homeless Education Conference in San Diego (April 26-28). The conference was hosted by the Homeless Education Technical Assistance Centers (HETACs) in partnership with the California Department of Education (CDE), LA County Office of Education and SchoolHouse Connection.

The group attended educational sessions on everything from data to community resources, all focused on supporting our homeless students better.
