The second annul CUSD Cares Middle School Basketball Tournament provided fun, cross-campus competition for hundreds of CUSD students. Each school held tournaments over lunch period to determine a boys and girls school champion for each grade level. Those teams competed in three pod tournaments with other schools to crown District intramural champions.
Aliso Niguel, San Juan Hills and Tesoro hosted the regional tournaments, with members of the boys and girls varsity basketball teams volunteering as referees and scorekeepers.

South Division (San Juan Hills)- Bernice Ayer, Ladera Ranch, Marco Forster, Newhart
North Division (Aliso Niguel)- Aliso Viejo, Don Juan Avila, Niguel Hills, Shorecliffs
