Four Capistrano Valley students in the Mandarin Immersion Program won prizes at the National Chinese Speech Contest. Presented by the American Academy of International Culture and Education, the contest asked students to write and recite an original speech based on a theme- Mandarin Chinese: A Bridge Across Cultures. This was the second year Capo Valley participated in the contest, winning two awards last year.
