Aliso Niguel High School honored one of its most celebrated athletes on August 23, retiring the jersey of former volleyball player Kathryn Plummer. Joined by her family, former coach, school administrators and fans, Kathryn’s No. 10 jersey was immortalized in the Aliso Niguel gym for eternity.
A three-time All-American and team captain, Kathryn lead the Wolverines to the CIF Division 1A championship in 2014. She then went on to an outstanding career at Stanford, winning three NCAA Championships. She was the AVCA National Player of the Year twice, the AVCA Freshman of the Year and won seven All-American accolades. She has competed on the USA National Team and currently plays professional volleyball in Italy.
