ANHS students win prizes for water awareness art

The Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) announced the winners of its annual Water Awareness Poster Contest, and six Aliso Niguel High students were among the honorees. MWDOC invites all K-12 students in Orange County to participate in a post contest illustrating how clean, fresh drinking water improves daily life. This year’s theme was When In Drought, Every Drop Counts, highlighting the importance of water conservation. 40 winners were selected in the different age group, receiving art supplies and MWDOC merchandise. A grand prize winner will be selected from each age group on June 2, and will win a new iPad.
