Aliso Niguel High graduates toss their hats following commencement during the ceremony at the school stadium on May 30.

Aliso Niguel High School graduates turned their tassels in celebration of their commencement following a ceremony on May 30 in the school’s stadium.
The graduates walked into the stadium as Aliso Niguel High School Music played “Pomp and Circumstance” by composer Edward Elgar, led by Band Director Jason Ma. Principal Michael J. Hatcher welcomed the audience, and ASB PresidentSabrina Leisner led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Student Eunnie Wu gave the Scholar of Scholar’s Address, followed by Keynote Speakers Melody Vakili and Enrique Gonzalez. The Alma Mater and Farewell Song was performed by Aliso Niguel High School Choral Seniors Choir, along with “Thank You” by Jim Brickman & Victoria Shaw, under the guidance of Director Jason Harney.
Assistant Principals Meredith Hosseini, William Mocnik, Sue Puccinelli, and Loren Shrader introduced the graduates, and the diplomas were awarded by Principal Michael J. Hatcher, Board of Trustees President Krista Castellanos, CUSD Superintendent Christopher Brown, Ed.D., and Assistant Superintendent of School Leadership and Instruction, Secondary Jennifer Smalley.
Eunnie Wu was the school’s Scholar of Scholars and the Wolverine of the Year is Sabrina Leisner.
