Business owners, city officials, community leaders, and law enforcement professionals recently stepped into the shoes of school principals for a firsthand look at what it takes to lead a school in Capistrano Unified School District.
As part of CUSD’s annual Principal for a Day event, participants spent the morning shadowing principals at elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the District. They visited classrooms, connected with students and staff, and gained valuable insight into the responsibilities, challenges, and rewards of leading a school community.
Following their time on campus, participants and school administrators gathered at the Norman P. Murray Community Center in Mission Viejo for a recognition luncheon to celebrate the experience and strengthen connections between CUSD and its community partners.
Thank you to our honorary principals for taking the time to experience a day in the life of a school leader, and to our dedicated administrators and school staff for warmly welcoming them to their campuses!
