In the fall of 2019, Governor Newsom signed Senate Bill 328, mandating secondary school start times later than traditional morning schedules. Statewide implementation of Senate Bill 328 was postponed due to COVID-19 and will take effect in fall 2022. Middle and high school principals will be communicating start times along with any additional relevant information directly with families in the coming weeks.
