Be inspired, get involved at the Spring ENGAGE Fair

Founded in 2021 at Dana Hills High School, ENGAGE is a student-led initiative built around one powerful idea: when students are given opportunities to serve, connect, and lead, they grow—not just as volunteers, but as people. Through biannual volunteer fairs and ongoing outreach, ENGAGE helps students across Capistrano Unified School District discover causes they care about, build real-world skills, and step confidently into their communities.

Since its launch, ENGAGE has expanded beyond one campus, hosting Community Engagement Fairs that bring together students, nonprofits, local businesses, and civic organizations—all in one place. These fairs are where curiosity meets action. Earlier this school year, ENGAGE partnered with the City of Laguna Niguel Youth Committee to host a successful fall fair.. Now, ENGAGE is excited to kick off 2026 with its Spring ENGAGE Fair.

At its heart, ENGAGE is about empowerment. As one mission statement perfectly captures it:
“ENGAGE empowers students to lead with kindness, serve with purpose, and grow through community.”

The ENGAGE Fair is more than a volunteer expo—it’s a celebration of student voice, leadership, and collaboration. Students can explore interactive booths, meet community organizations, and learn how to make an impact both on campus and beyond. This year’s fair features hands-on experiences like a CPR station led by a Falck EMT, NEGU card-making for children with cancer, and interactive tables that allow students to start making a difference right then and there.

ENGAGE’s student board has also introduced creative new ways to inspire participation, including Weekly Volunteer Highlights that recognize outstanding students and ENGAGE Bingo cards, where attendees earn one hour of community service by engaging with organizations and learning about their causes. With a wide variety of new and returning organizations representing diverse missions, students are sure to find something that resonates with them.

Whether you’re looking for volunteer hours, a new passion, or a way to give back, ENGAGE is where it begins.
