For the ninth year, CUSD partnered with Irvine-based Families Forward to provide 150 Thanksgiving meals to families in the District. Bags with non-perishable Thanksgiving food items and gift cards for Turkeys were distributed to families in need at the District Office on Wednesday, November 20.
The families receiving the food items were identified by the school site Bilingual Community Liaisons, and will also be a part of the Families Forward adopt-a-family program in December for Holiday gifts.
