The annual Koncert For Kids was hosted by the South Coast Symphony at Coast Hills Church on Oct. 18. Koncerts for Kids is a specifically designed multimedia program, professionally narrated, for fourth grade students. They experience music, performed by a large symphony orchestra, from a variety of genres including classical, jazz, opera, the film scores from Hollywood and the music and art performance to the music of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, and multimedia presentations from the film scores of composer John Williams.
CUSD students from Arroyo Vista, Bergeson, Chaparral, Clarence Lobo, Kinoshita, Las Palmas, Reilly, RH Dana and Wood Canyon all attended one of the two sessions on the day.
