The Discovery Cube Science Center has launched a new hands-on online platform that students, parents, and teachers can use to learn and have fun with science at home.

The new Discovery Cube Connect is a free interactive platform that provides more than 150 carefully curated at-home STEM activities for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. The content can be accessed via tablet, computer, or phone.

All the resources align with grade-level science standards, the Discovery Cube Science Center stated, and have been reviewed by more than 700 volunteer educators and parents.

Discovery Cube Connect was developed to inspire a love for learning through the connected world of scientific exploration where young minds can interact, engage and share their work from home or the classroom, officials stated.

“Discovery Cube Connect seeks to help educators and parents take the guesswork out of finding quality STEM content online. With our newest platform, content is organized by grade level and subject matter, and a detailed search engine that allows sorting by standards, STEM topics and ratings,” said Tina Rolewicz, Vice President of Education, Discovery Cube. “All content is vetted by Discovery Cube educators and selected based on the learning value it brings and the fun and ease of use a student has with it.”

The Discovery Cube Connect content includes videos, interactive experiments and home-based exploration, and hands-on activities across the following categories: chemistry, earth and environment, engineering, life and marine science, physics, space, STEM entertainment, and technology.
