Capistrano Valley High School students on the Model United Nations (MUN) team for bringing home several wins at their most recent conference!
MUN is a speech and debate competition that focuses on world affairs. At the conference, students are assigned various countries to represent in a variety of committees such as World Health Organization, European Union, and Security Council.
Judges on each committee rank each country based on how well they worked with others, and the quality of their speeches and resolutions.
The team received a total of 18 awards.
